Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

Welcome to Vietnam, on arrival at Hanoi's Noi Bai International Airport, our tour guide will greet you and transfer by private car through the city to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy 1 hour rickshaw ride to the Old Quarter. Overnight in Hanoi.


Day 2: Hanoi ( B )

After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy morning tour to Ho Chi Minh Complex  including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s House on Stilt and One Pillar Pagoda, then visit Vietnam National Museum of Ethnology to see the vast collection of 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam.Temple Of Literature. Aternoon, visit Temple of Literature, walk around Hoan Kiem Lake for Ngoc son Temple. In the evening, you will be entertained with Water Puppet Performance and Vietnamese traditional music at Thang Long Water puppet theatre. Overnight in Hanoi


Day 3: Hanoi - Tamcoc - Tamcoc - Hanoi ( B )

Breakfast at the hotel the drive south to Hoa Lu which was the capital of Vietnam from 968 to 1009. Upon arrival, experience the fomer capital up close and personal with a sightseeing of King Dinh Temple and King Le Temple then enjoy a leisure sampan trip along the Nhue Dong River to the grottoes of the sacred Tamcoc Caves. Enormous limestone karsts just come out from the green rice fields giving the area nick name, 'Halong on Land' . On the occasion, you may be lucky enough to see goats on the mountain side Afternoon, return to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi


Day 4: Hanoi - Halong bay ( B)

Today, get up early for morning Tai Chi with local people at Hoan Kiem lake. After breakfast at your hotel, leaving Hanoi by road for Halong Bay, the world natural heritage site, enjoying drive though the rural area with scenic view of rice paddy field in the Red River Delta. You may be lucky enough to see cows or pigs on motor bike or Vietnamese kids ridding on water buffalo. After 3 hours driving, check in Vietnamese wooden junk. Journey along the spectacular limestone islands through floating villages while having sea food lunch, then disembark to visit 'Sung Sot' or “Surprising Cave”, one of the most imposing grottos of the Bay. Next stop is Titop Island where you could swim or climb up to the top for panoramic view. In the evening, you will be delighted by candle light dinner on board with sea food. Overnight on board in Ha long bay.


Day 5: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Danang - Hoian ( B )

A breakfast will be served in the restaurant with the combination of western style and local one. Experience the Bay with a leisure sampan tour to “Hang Luon” or “Lagoon Cave”, then continue to other part of Halong Bay. Check out your carbine and cruise back to the land. In the afternoon, go back to Noi Bai International airport for short flight (1 hour) to Da Nang then transfer to Hoi An.  Overnight in Hoi An.


Day 6: Hoian - Hue ( B )

After your breakfast, enjoy a short bike to the ancient town of Hoi An. A walking tour to  Janpanese covered - bridge, Phung Hung Ancient House, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall and Chua Ong Pagada.  In the afternoon, leaving Hoi An for the city of Hue, the former imperial capital.  On the way, visit the Cham Museum and drive over the 'Pass of Ocean and Clouds'. Overnight at hotel in Hue


Day 7: Hue ( B )

Rise for an early breakfast, followed by a visit to the city's vibrant Dong Ba Market then The Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. After exploring the ruins of this wonderful monument, depart to the Hue Royal Fine Arts Museum. The afternoon, a dragon boat trip on The Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda, which allows you to go through history Buddhism in Vietnam, and to King Minh Mang's Tomb and King Khai Dinh' Tomb in order to see the contrast of traditional and modern architectures. Overnight in Hue


Day 8: Hue - Hochiminh City ( B )

Breakfast at the hotel then take the short flight to dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, followed by an orientation visit to the former Presidential Palace, the War Remnants Museum, the colonial Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office. Afternoon, tour leads you to Cho Lon Quarter or “Big Market” area where major trading activities take place. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.


Day 9: Hochiminh City – My Tho - HCM ( B )

Depart for My Tho. Take a boat ride along the river , view the stilt houses and the fruit plantation along the river bank. Visit the My Tho fishing village, floating fish farm. Proceed to Tortoise island. Afternoon, enjoy a boat ride through Tan Thach natural canal in Ben Tre, cruising under the shadow of the water coconut trees. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle.  Enjoy a rowing boat ride along the creeks, After trekking through the fruit plantation, village, drive back to Hochiminh city. 


Day 10: Hochiminh City – Luang Prabang ( B )

Today, you will have free day for your own activities in Ho Chi Minh City. Your private car and guide will take you to Tan Son Nhat Airport for international flights to Luang Prabang.

Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Luang Prabang has been claimed by UNESCO to be ‘the best preserved city in South East Asia’. During our time here, we visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrines of Wat Aham and Wat Mai, we then climb up to the top of mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a panoramic view of the city at sunset and the Mekong River. From there, we explore the Night Market, where you can find a lovely selection of handmade textiles made by local and hilltribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang


Day 11. Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Cave  ( B )

Today, we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. We then embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside as well time to explore the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims.  Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine. On return, we take a short drive to Ban Phanom, a small village known for its hand weaving. Overnight in Luang Prabang


Day 12. Luang Prabang – Khouangsi Waterfall (B)

An optional early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms (often in the form of sticky rice) from the faithful residents.. From there you will visit the morning Phousi Market. Today you will visit local villages of Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Ouay, a Hmong village, Ban Ou, Laoloum Village and Ban Thapene, all Khmu villages.  This then takes us to the beautiful Khouangsi Waterfall where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in the pools or walk along the forest trails. After returning to Luang Prabang by late afternoon, we continue to Ban Xangkhong, a village well known for its silk weavings and for its Saa (jute) Papermaking. We return to the city by late evening to admire the sunset at Wat Siphouthabath. Overnight in Luang Prabang


Day 13. Luang Prabang - Departure (B)

Today we visit the National Museum (closed Tuesdays) at the former Royal Palace.  It displays a collection of artefacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through to the last sovereign. There will also be time for us to look around the Central Market. After visiting these sights in the morning, there may be free time (depending on your flight) to venture into town and stroll around the shopping area. The tour ends after your transfer to the airport for departure
