Intinerary

DAY 01: SIEM REAP ARRIVAL (-/-/D)

Arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, you will be welcomed by our local guide and transferred to your hotel for check in.  Take a rest from the flight and enjoy with hotel’s facilities or discover a small city of Siem Reap to see the local lifestyle and colorful of markets by your own.
This evening, will be option to have welcome dinner with Khmer set menu and beautiful traditional Dance performance.

DAY 02: SIEM REAP (B/L/-)

After breakfast, start your day with a tour to ancient city of Angkor Thom complex, which is the last capital of Great Khmer Empire during the reign of King Jayavarman VII. After that, continue to Bayon Temple in the center of the city temple. Continue to the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper king as bas-reliefs are available to visit.
Afternoon, start for tour to the temples of Ta Prohm, The famous temple as “Tree in Temple” photograph opportunity, built in the mid of 12th to early of 13th centuries. Continue to Banteay Kdei, Buddhist monastery from the late 12th Century, and Srah Srang, also known as the “pool of ablutions”. Take time to visit Pre Rub Temple till sunset view over the rice field.
In evening time, you can explore Siem Reap nightlife, walking in the Pub Street or either shopping in night market area which own arrangement.

DAY 03: SIEM REAP (B/L/-)

After breakfast at the hotel, visit a famous temple of Angkor Wat. You will be departed from hotel with our local guide to visit the temple was built during the reign of king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century, Angkor Wat is constructed as earthly representation of Mt Meru, surrounded by a vast moat, Angkor Wat was dedicated to Hindu gods. Angkor Wat is well known for the more than 2,000 Apsara dancers decorating the temple.

Option: Kampung Phluk floating Village – Tonle Sap Tour
If you would like to full fill your day tour, you have the option to do a half day excursion to Kampong Phluck floating villages for boat trip on the Tonle Sap Lake, where you will have the opportunity to learn about daily life of local people on the lake. You will see houses on the high stills that built within the floodplain about 16 km southeast of Siem Reap. The villages are primarily Khmer and have about 3000 inhabitants between them. Flooded mangrove forest surrounds the area and is home to a variety of wildlife including crab-eating macaques. On the way, you will passed by the floating houses.
(Note: Due to the boat trip is only possible from June to March. However an alternative floating village at Chong Kneas or Mechrey can be arranged instead).

DAY 04: SIEM REAP – HO CHI MINH CITY (B/L/-)

Tranfer to Siem Reap airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City, which still be called Saigon by many locals. Pick up at airport and drive to your hotel. Proceed to take a city tour visiting the city’s bustling Chinatown, Thien hau Temple. Then visit one of the most famous history museums, the War Remnants Museum. From there, you will enjoy a walking tour to Old Saigon Post OfficeDong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat), Continental HotelOpera House and City Hall. After this be escorted back to the hotel.

DAY 05: HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA (B/L/-)

Have breakfast at hotel, then go from Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong Delta. On arrival in Ham Luong pier. Cruse  on Bến Tre river  exploring  the  lively activities along river as fishing,water transfering…….see  brick making in  handy traditional style by printing and baking. Visite one of plenty of coconut processing workshops located along canal. Turn on natural scissors creeks where they look smaller and smaller to go to village. Take a walk to family workshop making sleepmats and enjoying some fruits and tea.
riding a motor cart (xe lôi) or bike  on shady paths, pass by green rice fields and vegetable plains to be able to touch on realy life and find out  about tropical culture from Peasants. Afternoon -  riding a sampan  along canal, befor boat back to Ham Luong pier. At the end of the tour, drive Back to Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 06: HO CHI MINH CITY – FLIGHT TO HANOI (B/-/-)

You will be transferred to the airport for a domestic flight to Hanoi. Our tour guide will meet you at Noi Bai International Airport and then tranfer to hotel. Check-in and free time for leisure.

DAY 07: HANOI CITY TOUR (B/L/-)

After having breakfast at hotel, you will follow a full day tour in Hanoi. The tour will begin by visiting Tran Quoc pagoda, a Buddhist relic and national heritage lying on the West Lake. After that, you’ll have a chance to visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (outside)– the final resting place of the beloved national hero, Uncle Ho and the One Pillar Pagoda, built by King Ly Thai To in 1049. From there, it’s onto the Temple of literature, which was Viet Nam’s first university constructed in 1070 and is dedicated to Confucius. We will pass and see Opera House and enjoy a rickshaw tour around the Old Quarter. Finish the day with a Water Puppet show. This is a uniquely northern Vietnamese art form depicting scenes from rural life and episodes of national history.

DAY 08: HANOI – NINH BINH (B/L/-)

Get picked up by our tour guide then depart for Bai Dinh pagoda and Trang an eco-tourism attraction area (120kms south of Hanoi).
Arrive in Buddha Sanctuary place of Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest one in Vietnam with 500 Arhat statues. You can see a biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam with 10 meters in height, 100 tons in weight. Tour guide also gives you an introduction of beliefs and religions in Vietnam. 
After that, visit Trang An ecological tourist site with a boat trip through cave chains: Lam cave, Thanh Truot cave… with 3 spiritual and an exciting “ Kong – Skull Island” film studio. Get back to your hotel.
CYCLING RIDE (optional): Those who love to explore real countryside images of Vietnam can proceed a cycling ride along country lane from Tam Coc to Thai Vi temple, experiencing the beautiful scenery of lush paddy fields.

DAY 09: HANOI – HALONG BAY (B/L/D)

Depart for the 3hr 30mins drive to Halong Bay. Arrive to the Halong City jetty (around noon) and proceed with check in formalities. After a welcome on board, lunch will be served while cruising towards the bay. In the afternoon, enjoy some sightseeing, on-board activities (depending on each boat’s itinerary) or just spend some time relaxing on board.
Towards the end of the day, the boat sets anchor for the night among the karst formations. Dinner is served on board.

DAY 10: HALONG BAY – HANOI (B/BR/-)

Wake up to fresh coffee and a wholesome breakfast before cruising back to Halong City. En route the boat weaves through strange-shaped rock formations. After another wonderful brunch on board disembark at the dock at Halong City. Transfer back to Hanoi.

DAY 11: HANOI – LUANG PRABANG (B/L/-)

Free time at your leisure. Transfer to the airport to take your flight to Luang Prabang. On arrival at Luang Prabang International Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
From there we will climb to the top of Mount Phousi to explore the sacred gilded stupa and to enjoy the panoramic view of the city and the sun setting over the Mekong River. 
 
Decenting the mountain your will find yourself in the midst of the famous Luang Prabang Night Market, where you can find a unique selection of handmade textiles and handicrafts locally made by both ethnic Lao and hilltribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. 
 
Your evening is free to explore the city or relax at the hotel.

DAY 12: LUANG PRABANG (B/L/-)

Today we embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, stopping at Ban Xiengmene, Wat Long Khun and the limestone cave of Tham Sakkarin.
Following our boat journey the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. These caves are an ancient pilgrimage site and contain thousands of gold lacquered Buddha images left there over hundreds of years. 
Returning to Luang Prabang you have the option of visiting Ban Xiengkek and Ban Xangkhong where villagers making jute paper and continue to visit the textile village of Phanom, a small village known for its hand weaving or returning to downtown. We will head off on bicycles to see some of the highlights of Luang Prabang including a visit to the Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artifacts from the Royal period in Luang Prabang. Cycling on we are seeing the city’s oldest temples, the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roof sweeping low to the ground, representing classical Lao architecture.

DAY 13: LUANG PRABANG (B/L/-)

You will have a chance to observe or participate in this serene Buddhist ritual of almsgiving, known as tak bat. Your guide picks you up at dawn from your hotel and takes you by private vehicle to a street where a single-file line of silent, saffron-clad Buddhist monks walk with their alms bowls each morning. Drive back to hotel for having breakfast. We begin our journey to Khouangsi Waterfall. On arrival at the Khouangsi Waterfall you will have the opportunity to cool off with a refreshing swim in the topaz pools below the falls, walk along the forest trails and visit the Bear Sanctuary.
Returning to Luang Prabang your afternoon is free to explore or relax at the hotel.

DAY 14: LUANG PRABANG – DEPARTURE (B/-/-)

Departure day. At leisure for shopping until transfer to Luang Prabang Airport for onward flight.
